    ETUDE DES CAS D’INTOXICATION AIGUES TRAITES AU NIVEAU DE L’HOPITAL D’EL TARF.

    Résume Selon l’Organisation Mondiale de la Santé (OMS), l’intoxication aiguë est l’ensemble des manifestations pathologiques consécutives à l’ingestion d’aliment ou à l’adminis tration de produits ou de drogues qui se comportent comme un poison dans l’organisme. Notre étude a été menée au niveau du service de prévention de l'hôpital Bouzid Ammar d'El Kala et de l'hôpital El Hadi Ben Jadid d'El Tarf concernant les cas d'intoxicat ions aiguës enregistrés au cours des années 2022 et 2023. Le but de cette étude est de déterminer le taux d'intoxication aiguë, de décrire les signes pathologiques du phénomène, les causes et les circonstances de sa survenue, et enfin les mesures préventiv es. Pendant les années 2022 et 2023, au sein de l'hôpital Bouzid Ammar d'El Kala, les données ont révélé que le médicament était le principal responsable des cas d'intoxications aiguës. En 2022, les enfants étaient les plus touchés par les intoxications ai guës, tandis qu'en 2023, ce sont les femmes qui étaient les plus affectées par ces intoxications. Nous avons remarqué que les intoxications accidentelles étaient plus fréquentes que les intoxications volontaires, et que tant les intoxications accidentelles et les intoxications volontaires étaient plus courantes chez les femmes que chez les hommes en 2022 et 2023. En ce qui concerne les mois de l'année 2022, on a constaté des cas d'intoxication médicamenteuse en mars, mai et juin. Pour les intoxications à l'eau de Javel, elles ont été enregistrées en février, mars et juillet. Les cas d'intoxication au gaz ont été enregistrés en janvier et février. Les cas d'intoxication alimentaire ont été enregistrés en avril. Enfin, les cas d'intoxication par raticides ont été enregistrés en février. Pour les mois de l'année 2023, on a enregistré des cas d'intoxications médicamenteuses en mai et août, tandis que les cas d'intoxications alimentaires ont été enregistrés en février et août. Quant aux intoxications par l'eau de Javel, elles ont été enregistrées en mars et septembre, et les cas d'intoxication au gaz ont été enregistrés en mars. Enfin, les cas d'intoxications par raticides ont été enregistrés en août et novembre. À l'hôpital Al-Hadi Ben Jadid à Al-Tarf, en ce qui concerne les substances toxiques, on a remarqué que le médicament était le principal responsable des cas d'intoxication au cours des années 2022 et 2023. Les enfants s ont l es plus touchés par les intoxications en 2022 et 2023. Seuls les cas d'intoxications accidentelles ont été enregistrés au cours des deux années. En 2022, on enregistre plus de cas d'intoxications accidentelles chez les femmes que chez les hommes. En revanche, en 2023, le nombre de cas d'intoxications accidentelles chez les femmes sera identique à celui chez les hommes. En ce qui concerne les mois de l'année 2022, des cas d'intoxications médicamenteuses ont été signalés en juin, juillet et août. Les cas d'intoxication à l'eau de Javel ont été enregistrés en août, novembre et décembre, tandis que les cas d'intoxication au gaz ont été enregistrés en janvier et novembre. Quant aux cas d'intoxications aux produits caustiques, ils ont été signalés principalement en janvier, février et avril. Les cas d'intoxications alimentaires ont été enregistrés en août. Enfin, des cas d'intoxications par raticides ont été enregistrés en décembre. Pour l'année 2023, on a enregistré des cas d'intoxications médicamenteuses en janvier, avril, septembre et novembre. Les cas d'intoxication à l'eau de Javel ont été signalés en février et mai, tandis que les cas d'intoxication au gaz ont été enregistrés en janvier. Enfin, des cas d'intoxications aux produits caustiques ont été enregistrés en juillet. Mots clés : intoxication aiguë, intoxication accidentelle, intoxica tion volontaire, médicament, Abstract According to the World Health Organization (WHO), acute poisoning is the set of pathological manifestations that follow the ingestion o f food or the administration of products or drugs that act as a poison in the body. Our study was conducted at the prevention department of Bouzid Ammar Hospital in El Kala and El Hadi Ben Jadid Hospital in El Tarf concerning the cases of acute intoxicatio ns recorded during the years 2022 and 2023. The aim of this study is to determine the rate of acute intoxication, describe the pathological signs of the phenomenon, identify its causes and circumstances, and finally propose preventive measures. During the years 2022 and 2023, within Bouzid Ammar Hospital in El Kala, the data revealed that medication was the primary cause of acute poisonings. In 2022, children were the most affected by acute poisonings, while in 2023, it was women who were most affected by these poisonings. We noticed that accidental poisonings were more common than intentional poisonings, and both accidental and intentional poisonings were more prevalent among women than among men in 2022 and 2023. Regarding the months of the year 2022, cases of medication poisoning were observed in March, May, and June. For bleach intoxications, they were recorded in February, March, and July. Cases of gas poisoning were recorded in January and February. Cases of food poisoning were recorded in April. Finally, cases of rat poison intoxication were recorded in February. For the months of the year 2023, cases of medication poisoning were recorded in May and August, while cases of food poisoning were recorded in February and August. As for bleach intoxications, they were recorded in March and September, and cases of gas poisoning were recorded in March. Finally, cases of rat poison intoxication were recorded in August and November. At Al-Hadi Ben Jadid Hospital in Al-Tarf, regarding toxic substances, it was noted that medication was the main culprit for poisoning cases during the years 2022 and 2023. Regarding age, children were the most affected by poisonings in both 2022 and 2023. Only cases of accidental poisonings were recorded over the two years. In 2022, there will be more cases of accidental poisonings among women than among men. However, in 2023, the number of accidental poisonings among women will be the same as that among men. Regarding the months of the year 2022, cases of medication poisoning were reported in June, July, and August. Cases of bleach poisoning were recorded in August, November, and December, while cases of gas poisoning were recorded in January and November. As for cases of caustic substance poisoning, they were reported in January, February, and April. Cases of food poisoning were recorded in August, and finally, cases of rat poison poisoning were recorded in December. For the year 2023, cases of medication poisoning were recorded in January, April, September, and November. Cases of bleach poisoning were reported in February and May, while cases of gas poisoning were registered in January. Finally, cases of caustic substance poisoning were recorded in July.
