Abstract

This study aims to show the impact of oil price fluctuations on the economic growth of the Arab countries in general, and in particular on the growth of the Algerian economy, as it is one of the least diversified countries in its exports, which depends mainly on the export of one commodity, which is hydrocarbons. The study concluded that there is a direct relationship between oil prices and economic growth, as their rise leads to an increase in financial returns and thus a recovery in the economic cycle, and its decrease leads to a deterioration in economic growth rates. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى بيان أثر تقلبات أسعار النفط على النمو الاقتصادي للدول العربية عمومًا، وعلى نمو الاقتصاد الجزائري على وجه الخصوص، كونه من أقل الدول تنوعًا في صادراته، إذ يعتمد بشكل أساسي على تصدير سلعة واحدة، وهي المحروقات. وخلصت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة طردية بين أسعار النفط والنمو الاقتصادي، إذ يؤدي ارتفاعها إلى زيادة العوائد المالية، وبالتالي إلى انتعاش الدورة الاقتصادية، بينما يؤدي انخفاضها إلى تدهور معدلات النمو الاقتصادي.
