Recherche et évaluation de l'activité antifongique de l'huile essentielle de Mentha rotundifolia

Abstract

Résumé La lutte biologique par l'utilisation de substances naturelles ayant un effet pesticide peut être une alternative aux produits chimiques de synthèse ; parmi ces substances naturelles se trouvent les extraits de plantes aromatiques en particulier les huiles essentielles. L’objectif de cette étude la valorisation d’une plante aromatique poussant à l’état spontané dans la région d’El Tarf, à savoir Mentha rotundifolia, à travers l’extraction de l’huile essentielle et l’étude de son activité antifongique. Les résultats obtenus illustrent l’effet inhibiteur de l’huile essentielle de Mentha rotundifolia sur la croissance mycélienne de la souche phytopathogène Fusarium solani, avec taux d’inhibition de 64.36% pour la plus forte concentration de l’huile essentielle et une CI50 de l’ordre de 19 μl/ml. Abstract Biological control through the use of natural substances with a pesticidal effect can be an alternative to synthetic chemicals ; among these natural substances are the extracts of aromatic plants, in particular essential oils. The objective of this study is to enhance the value of an aromatic plant that grows spontaneously in the region of El Tarf, namely Mentha rotundifolia, through the extraction of essential oil and the study of its antifungal activity.
