Abstract
The discussion of the results of the questionnaires and classroom observation
answered the research questions and confirmed the hypothesis set in the
general introduction. Oral feedback is revealed to be more or less a method
which is used by teachers to show their students the way forward. This is
reflected in the teachers’ awareness about the valuable role and the value of oral
feedback in the field of language teaching and learning. This study proves that
teachers support the use of oral feedback effectively. This is perceived while
the majority of the participants take into account the importance of timing in
feedback, the audience to whom the feedback should be delivered, the mode
by which the feedback message is expressed, and the significance of providing
a usable amount of feedback.
