Abstract
This study aimed to understand the current state of digital banking services in Algeria as a key driver for achieving sustainable development. The study employed a descriptive-analytical approach for the theoretical framework and a case study methodology for the applied framework. A questionnaire was designed as the primary data collection tool and analyzed using SPSS software.
One of the most important findings is that digital transformation in the banking sector is not merely a technological upgrade but a fundamental pillar supporting sustainable development. Digitalization contributes to reducing operational costs, accelerating transactions, and enhancing financial inclusion, in addition to decreasing paper usage and emissions resulting from customer travel.
Among the recommendations are expanding digital financial inclusion by designing simple and low-cost electronic banking services targeting the unbanked population, and the necessity for banks to prioritize digital transformation training within senior management and utilize it as an effective tool for developing talent.
Furthermore, increased investment in technological infrastructure is recommended to ensure the continuity of secure digital banking services.
