CONTRIBUTION A L’ETUDE DES MODALITES D’UTILISATION DES ANTIBIOTIQUES EN ELEVAGE AVICOLES DANS LA WILAYA DE SÉTIF

Abstract

RÉSUMÉ Une enquête, effectuée auprès de 30 confrères exerçant dans la wilaya de Sétif, a permis une première évaluation de la conscience des vétérinaires à propos du sujet de l’utilisation des antibiotiques dans les élevages avicoles. Les enquêtés, dont la plus part assurent le suivi sanitaire d’animaux vivant dans des exploitations à niveau d’hygiène médiocre, ont tendance à se servir de plus en plus fréquemment d’antibiotiques. La plus part d’entre eux (70%) donnent leurs prescriptions de traitements antibiotiques sans recours aux laboratoires de diagnostic. L’enquête a révélé un remarquable manque dans la maîtrise de l’utilisation des antibiotiques dès le choix des molécules actives jusqu’à leur administration aux animaux. Une promotion de bonnes pratiques de l’antibiothérapie est plus que jamais nécessaire. Mots-clés : Enquête, élevages avicoles, antibiothérapie, Sétif. SUMMARY A survey was made at 30 practitioners’clinics in wilaya of Sétif, allowed a first evaluation of their conscience concerning the subject of the use of antibiotics in poultry farming. The practitioners’, which the most of them acts on farms with poor level of hygienic conditions tend to, use frequently the antibiotics. Most of them (70%) prescribe their treatments without recourse to the laboratories of diagnosis. The survey revealed a remarkable lack in the control of the use of antibiotics, since the choice of active molecules to their administering to animals. A promotion of good practice of antibiotherapy is more than ever necessary.
