Abstract

This study deals with Total Quality Management as a strategy to improve the efficiency of institutions of higher education (university) in Algeria, by addressing this concept and importance that the university can achieve through the application of this method, and which requires the presence of motives and requirements that call for that, as i also touched upon the reality of applying this trend in Algerian universities, and in the end, I’ve presented some international experiences in the field of Total Quality Management by some foreign and arab universeties. This study aims to shed light on the importance of implementing TQM as a strategic entry point in higher education institutions, the reality of LMD system in Algeria, in addition to know the sites of TQM in Algerian universities, as well as the successes achieved by TQM in various universities. The descreptive and analytical approach was relied in this study because it is appropriate to report facts and list information on the topic and analyze it. The results of this study confirm the necessity of implementing Total Quality Management in Algerian universities, and put some suggestions and recommendations that may help in improving and developing Algerian universities. In order to achieve quality, excellence and advancement تتناول هذه الدراسة إدارة الجودة الشاملة كاستراتيجية لتحسين كفاءة مؤسسات التعليم العالي (الجامعات) في الجزائر، وذلك من خلال تناول هذا المفهوم والأهمية التي يمكن للجامعة تحقيقها من خلال تطبيق هذه المنهجية، والتي تتطلب وجود دوافع ومتطلبات تدعو إلى ذلك، كما تطرقت إلى واقع تطبيق هذا التوجه في الجامعات الجزائرية، واستعرضت في النهاية بعض التجارب الدولية في مجال إدارة الجودة الشاملة لبعض الدول الأجنبية والعربية. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على أهمية تطبيق إدارة الجودة الشاملة كمدخل استراتيجي في مؤسسات التعليم العالي، وواقع نظام إدارة التعليم العالي (LMD) في الجزائر، بالإضافة إلى معرفة مواقع تطبيق إدارة الجودة الشاملة في الجامعات الجزائرية، والنجاحات التي حققتها في مختلف الجامعات. وقد اعتمدت هذه الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي والتحليلي لما له من فائدة في سرد ​​الحقائق وحصر المعلومات المتعلقة بالموضوع وتحليلها. تؤكد نتائج هذه الدراسة ضرورة تطبيق إدارة الجودة الشاملة في الجامعات الجزائرية، وتقدم بعض المقترحات والتوصيات التي قد تُسهم في تحسين وتطوير الجامعات الجزائرية، بما يحقق الجودة والتميز والتقدم.
