Abstract

This study aims to shed light on the role played by the Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001 in enhancing the strategic performance of the organization, using Enfamedis as a case study. The research problem posed was: How does the implementation of the Environmental Management System based on ISO 14001 affect the strategic performance of Enfamedis? To achieve the study objectives, the IMRAD method was employed, combining descriptive-analytical approaches in both theoretical and practical aspects. A case study methodology was adopted for the practical side, utilizing a questionnaire distributed to a random sample of 30 respondents, which was processed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS),Through this study, we found a statistically significant positive impact (α = 0.05) of implementing the Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001 on improving the strategic performance of Enfamedis. This system enables organizations to achieve tangible improvements in resource efficiency and environmental cost reduction, thereby enhancing profitability and sustainability تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على دور نظام الإدارة البيئية وفقًا للمعيار ISO 14001 في تعزيز الأداء الاستراتيجي للمنظمة، وذلك باستخدام شركة Enfamedis كدراسة حالة. وتمثلت مشكلة البحث في: كيف يؤثر تطبيق نظام الإدارة البيئية وفقًا للمعيار ISO 14001 على الأداء الاستراتيجي لشركة Enfamedis؟ ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم استخدام منهج IMRAD، الذي يجمع بين المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في الجانبين النظري والعملي. أما في الجانب العملي، فقد تم اعتماد منهجية دراسة الحالة، باستخدام استبيان وزع على عينة عشوائية من 30 مستجيبًا، وتمت معالجته باستخدام الحزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS). وقد توصلت هذه الدراسة إلى وجود أثر إيجابي ذي دلالة إحصائية (α = 0.05) لتطبيق نظام الإدارة البيئية وفقًا للمعيار ISO 14001 على تحسين الأداء الاستراتيجي لشركة Enfamedis. يتيح هذا النظام للمؤسسات تحقيق تحسينات ملموسة في كفاءة الموارد وخفض التكاليف البيئية، وبالتالي تعزيز الربحية والاستدامة.
