Abstract

This study aims to highlight the role of the green economy in achieving sustainable development by putting an end to environmental degradation by reducing environmental risks and the scarcity of ecological resources, improving the efficiency of resource use by creating green jobs in various economic sectors, reducing the volume of waste and managing it better, and protecting diversity. Biological. The descriptive, analytical method and the inductive method were used to monitor the experiences of some Arab countries in moving towards a green economy. The study concluded that the transition to the green economy has achieved remarkable growth in developed countries such as Germany, the United States, and China, and despite the accelerated growth of investments related to the green economy the world is witnessing, it is still in its infancy in the Arab countries despite the development of strategic plans aimed at that. Algeria is among the countries striving to try to move towards a green economy in order to promote sustainable development and create economic diversification by implementing some green projects, perhaps the most important of which is the Beni Haroun Dam. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز دور الاقتصاد الأخضر في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة من خلال الحد من التدهور البيئي عبر الحد من المخاطر البيئية وندرة الموارد البيئية، وتحسين كفاءة استخدام الموارد عبر خلق فرص عمل خضراء في مختلف القطاعات الاقتصادية، وتقليل حجم النفايات وإدارتها بشكل أفضل، وحماية التنوع البيولوجي. وقد استُخدم المنهج الوصفي والتحليلي والمنهج الاستقرائي لرصد تجارب بعض الدول العربية في التحول نحو الاقتصاد الأخضر. وخلصت الدراسة إلى أن التحول نحو الاقتصاد الأخضر قد حقق نموًا ملحوظًا في الدول المتقدمة كألمانيا والولايات المتحدة والصين، ورغم النمو المتسارع للاستثمارات المتعلقة بالاقتصاد الأخضر الذي يشهده العالم، إلا أنه لا يزال في بداياته في الدول العربية رغم وضع خطط استراتيجية تهدف إلى ذلك. تُعدّ الجزائر من بين الدول التي تسعى جاهدة للتحول نحو الاقتصاد الأخضر بهدف تعزيز التنمية المستدامة وخلق التنوع الاقتصادي من خلال تنفيذ بعض المشاريع الخضراء، ولعل أهمها سد بني هارون.
