Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness of using Cooperative
Learning (CL) as a strategy to enhance students' level in grammar.And to motivate
them to work cooperatively.The case study was second year students of English
as a Foreign Language (EFL). At Department of English, university of El-Taref. In
order check this correlation,we have posed two research questions.Wether CL is a
helpful strategy and to what extent can be an effective technique.To answer these
questions,we have conducted a questionnaire for students which composed of
nine questions to know their attitudes towards using CL in their grammarlectures.
And administered to 40students during the accademic year 2019-2020.The results
which has been analyzed quantitively and qualitively revealed that cooperative
learning is a successful and a helpful strategy to enhance the level of second year
students Chadli Bendjedid university El-Taref.And helped them to boost their
language and spoke English correctly.Through the study and the results gained,
we offered some suggestions for students and teachers to apply cooperative
learning method during learning and teaching process since it can help the teachers
to solve and controle the difficulties in implementing CL and aids Foreign Learnersto
interact with others.
