Evaluation halieutique par l’approche structurale: application au stock du chinchard commun Trachurus trachurus (Linnaeus, 1758) des côtes d’El Kala.

6. RESUME. La biologie et la dynamique du saurel, Trachurus trachurus (Linne, 1758) du littoral d’El Kala (Est algérien), ont été étudiées afin de pallier les manques de données concernant l’exploitation de cette espèce. Durant la période allant de novembre 2019 à mai 2020, nous avons analysé un total de 800 individus, 392 mâles, 374 femelles et 34 immatures (6.4 ≤ Lt ≤ 30.5 cm, 2.65 ≤ Pt ≤ 232.03 g). Quatre aspects ont été abordés: la reproduction, l’âge-croissance, mortalité et état d’exploitation des stocks. Le sex–ratio est en faveur des mâles avec 1.04. Le suivi de l’évolution du RGS et du RHS a révélé que la période de reproduction se place à partir du mois de Mars. L’observation macroscopique des gonades montre que la maturation sexuelle passe par 5 stades. L’étude de l’âge et des paramètres de croissance, établie selon la méthode de Bhattacharya (1967), estime la durée de vie des saurels, tous sexes confondus à 5 ans. Les 3 paramètres de Von Bertalanffy, montrent que les poissons croissent rapidement, en effet L∞ = 32.60 cm avec K = 0.37 et tₒ = - 0.152, leur poids augmente aussi vite que leur longueur (isométrie) avec b = 3.045. Le poids asymptotique W∞ = 283.69 g de l’ensemble de la population est supérieur au poids total maximal échantillonné WTmax =232.03 g. Le coefficient de mortalité par pêche (F) est de 1.24 an-1 alors que la mortalité naturelle (M) est de 0.37 an-1 avec un taux d’exploitation (E) > 0.5. Cette approche décrit une situation de déséquilibre dynamique du stock qui est en état de surexploitation. SUMMARY. The biology and dynamics of the saurel, Trachurus trachurus (Linne, 1758) of the coast of El Kala (eastern Algeria), have been studied in order to compensate for the lack of data concerning the exploitation of this species. During the period from November 2019 to May 2020, we analyzed a total of 800 individuals, 392 males, 374 females and 34 immatures (6.4≤Lt≤ 30.5 cm, 2.65≤ Pt≤ 232.03 g). Four aspects were discussed: reproduction, age-growth, mortality and state of exploitation of the stocks. The sex – ratio is in favor of males with 1.04. Monitoring the evolution of RGS and RHS revealed that the breeding season starts from March. Macroscopic observation of the gonads shows that sexual maturation goes through 5 stages. The study of age and growth parameters, established according to the method of Bhattacharya (1967), estimates the lifespan of all sexes combined at 5 years. The 3 parameters of Von Bertalanffy, show that the fish grow rapidly, indeed L∞ = 32.60 cm with K = 0.37 and tₒ = - 0.152, their weight increases as quickly as their length (isometry) with b = 3.045. The asymptotic weight W∞= 283.69 g of the entire population is greater than the maximum total weight sampled WTmax = 232.03 g. The fishing mortality coefficient (F) is 1.24 yr-1 while the natural mortality (M) is 0.37 yr-1 with an exploitation rate (E)> 0.5. This approach describes a situation of dynamic imbalance of the stock, which is in a state of overexploitation.
