Abstract
The present research is an investigation to examine teacher’s attitudes toward cultural aspects
designed in the Algerian middle schools textbook. To achieve the goal of this study, relevant
terms will be defined in the theoretical part, the third year middle school textbook ” Spotlight
On English 3” and their teachers is the case study. The evaluation of the textbook
demonstrates that the cultural components are adequately sufficient in the cultural knowledge.
The results of teacher’s questionnaire reveal that most of them suffer from the lack of
materiasl, which might helped them to introduce the culture effectively in classrooms. .On the
basis of these results, some recommendation has been directed in order to help student and
teacher to develop their cultural knowledge
