صورة الآخر في أدب الرحلة _في مدينة الضباب ومدن أخرى_ "لعبد الله ركيبي نموذجا"

Abstract

يتناول هذا البحث صورة الآخر في أدب الرحلة إعتمادا على كتاب "في مدينة الضباب ومدن أخرى" لعبد الله ركيبي نموذجا، من خلال تحليل تمثلات الكاتب للغرب أثناء رحلته إلى لندن، وكشف البحث أن صورة الآخر جاءت متعددة الأبعاد قدمه بوصفه آخرا متقدما حضاريا يتميز بالنظام وإحترام الوقت والتطور العلمي، ورصد بعض الجوانب السلبية المرتبطة بالمادية والفردانية وضعف الروابط الاجتماعية، كما تناول البحث صورة الآخر الاجتماعية والسياسية والدينية مبرزا موقف الرحالة القائم على الملاحظة والمقارنة بين الأنا والآخر، معتمدا على الوصف والسرد والحوار والتأمل في بناء صورة، مما أضفى على الرحلة بعدا معرفيا وثقافيا يتجاوز مجرد تسجيل المشاهدات إلى محاولة فهم الآخر وتفسير مظاهر حظارته. Abstract: This research addresses the image of the "Other" in travel literature, taking the book In the City of Fog and Other Cities by Abdallah Rekibi as a case study, by analyzing the author's representations of the West during his journey to London. The study reveals that the image of the Other is multidimensional; the Other is presented as civilizationally advanced, characterized by order, respect for time, and scientific progress. It also highlights certain negative aspects associated with materialism, individualism, and weak social ties. Furthermore, the research examines the social, political, and religious image of the Other, highlighting the traveler's perspective, which is based on observation and comparison between the "Self" and the "Other." The author relies on description, narration, dialogue, and reflection to construct this image, which lends the journey a cognitive and cultural dimension that goes beyond merely recording observations to attempting to understand the Other and interpret the manifestations of their civilization.
