Abstract

Ce mémoire de master s’inscrit dans le champ de la sociolinguistique des pratiques langagières. Il cherche à rendre compte des différentes langues utilisées par les étudiants en langues françaises dans la sphère familiale en prenant en considération les divers facteurs qui influencent le choix de langue dans une situation de communication dans le foyer. Cette recherche a pour objectif d’analyser les répertoires verbaux de cinq étudiants et de déterminer ce qui impactent le choix de langue dans le cadre d’une analyse de discours faite à partir d’une approche qualitative par le biais d’entretiens transcrits. Cette analyse débouche sur des pratiques caractérisée par un statut plurilingue principalement dominée par l’arabe dialectal et le français et qui différent selon l’individu avec lequel l’échange est entrepris

This Master's thesis is part of the field of sociolinguistics of language practices. It seeks to account for the different languages used by French language students in the family sphere by taking into consideration the various factors that influence the choice of language in a communication situation in the home. The aim of this research is to analyse the verbal repertoires of five students and to determine what impacts on language choice through a discourse analysis based on a qualitative approach using transcribed interviews. This analysis leads to practices characterised by a plurilingual status mainly dominated by dialectal Arabic and French and which differ according to the individual with whom the exchange is undertaken.
