| dc.description.sponsorship | This study aimed to express the role of the Algerian press in shaping public opinion, and for that we asked a set of questions from which the research process started, and which are as follows : 1- How does the print media affect the opinions and the way of thinking of the individual in Algerian society? 2- Does the print media play a role in strengthening the values of citizenship? 3- Does the print media play a role in increasing the awareness of individuals within society? The reasons for a student to focus on one subject of research on another are first personal, then they obey to objective considerations that emerge from the perception of the importance of the problem and the ability to harmonize with it. - How is public opinion formed? - Does the print media play a role? All these questions were imposed on my conscience and I wanted to provide answers. Concerning the method of research, I have preferred the analytical descriptive method because it is appropriate to the nature of the study which tends to describe the role of the written press in shaping public opinion and to become aware of its reality in student circles as a fringe of society. And we chose this study sample through using one mode of collection of indications which is the questionnaire. Throughout the study we came out with conclusions by analyzing the questionnaires that the print media influences public opinion and the way of thinking within the social configuration, and that the print media plays a role in strengthening of citizenship, in addition to the effective role of the print media in strengthening citizen awareness. The set represented answers on the secondary questions. | |
