Contribution à la biologie du sandre Sander licioperca (Linnaeus, 1758) du lac Oubeira, (El-Tarf, Algérie)

Abstract

RESUME La présente étude porte sur la biologie de la croissance et la reproduction du sandre Sander lucioperca peuplant le lac Oubeira, El-Tarf, extrême Nord-est algérien. Un total de 255 individus dont 135 mâles, 107 femelles et 13 individus non déterminés, a été inventorié sur une période s’étalant de novembre 2022 à avril 2023. L’âge et la croissance ont été estimés par la scalimétrie qui nous a permis de distinguer 8 groupes d’âge chez la population totale. Les paramètres de croissance de Von Bertalanffy des sexes confondus ont été déterminées par la méthode de Ford Walford. Les valeurs retenues sont : L∞ = 91,39 cm, P∞ = 6572,3272 g, k = 0,16 et un t0 = -0,335. Les performances de croissance chez cette espèce dans la zone d’étude (φ’ = 3,12) sont assez proches à celles citées dans la littérature pour d’autres populations de sandre. La relation taille-poids du S. lucioperca du lac Oubeira est isométrique chez la population totale étudiée. La sex-ratio est en faveur des mâles durant le mois de février dans les catégories de tailles comprises entre 28 - 33 cm, alors qu’elle est constante pour les restes des classes. A partir du suivi de l’évolution du RGS et RHS, nous supposant que la période d’étude coïncide avec le début de la reproduction (la maturation des gonades). Abstract This study focuses on the biology of growth and reproduction of the zander fish (Sander lucioperca) inhabiting lake Oubeira, El-Tarf, in the extreme northeast of Algeria. A total of 255 individuals, including 135 males, 107 females, and 13 undetermined individuals, were recorded from November 2022 to April 2023. Age and growth were estimated using scalimetry, which allowed us to distinguish eight age groups within the total population. The Von Bertalanffy growth parameters for both sexes were determined using the Ford Walford method. The selected values are: L∞ = 91.39 cm, P∞ = 6572.3272 g, k = 0.16, and t0 = -0.335. The growth performance of this species in the study area (φ' = 3.12) is quite similar to those reported in the literature for other zander populations. The length-weight relationship of S. lucioperca in lake Oubeira is isometric in the total population studied. The sex ratio favors males during the month of February in size categories ranging from 28 to 33 cm, while it remains constant for the other size classes. Based on monitoring the evolution of the GSI (Gonadosomatic Index) and HSI (Hepatosomatic Index), we assume that the study period coincides with the beginning of reproduction (gonad maturation).
