Abstract

RÉSUMÉ Ce travail a pour objectif de déterminer les interventions chirurgicales les plus fréquentes chez les carnivores domestiques (chiens et chats) dans la wilaya d’El Tarf durant l’année universitaire 2025-2026. Une étude rétrospective a été réalisée à partir des ossiers cliniques des animaux ayant bénéficié de diverses interventions chirurgicales dans les cliniques vétérinaires. Les résultats montrent que l’ovariectomie, la castration, le traitement chirurgical du pyomètre et la césarienne sont les actes les plus réalisés au cours de la période étudiée, soulignant leur rôle important dans la pratique vétérinaire quotidienne. Cette étude met également en évidence l’importance de la chirurgie pour répondre aux besoins des propriétaires d’animaux et encourage le renforcement de la sensibilisation à l’entretien et aux soins chirurgicaux préventifs.ABSTRACT This study aims to identify the most frequent surgical procedures performed on domestic carnivores (dogs and cats) in the El Tarf province during the 2025–2026 academic year.
