Etude ethnobotanique et analyse phytochimique d’une plante médicinale utilisée dans la médicine traditionnelle pour traitement du zona.

Abstract

Résumé : Ce travail porte sur l’étude du potentiel thérapeutique d’une plante médicinale utilisée traditionnellement dans le traitement du zona (Herpes zoster). Ce travail s’inscrit dans le cadre de la valorisation des plantes de la flore algérienne. Une analyse phytochimique des extraits obtenus a permis de mettre en évidence la présence de métabolites secondaires tels que les flavonoïdes, les tanins, les saponines et les polyphénols, connus pour leurs propriétés biologiques importantes. Une étude de l’activité antibactérienne a également été réalisée, révélant un effet inhibiteur intéressant des extraits testés. Ces résultats confirment l’intérêt pharmacologique potentiel de cette plante et justifient son utilisation en médecine traditionnelle. Abstract: This work focuses on the study of the therapeutic potential of a medicinal plant traditionally used in the treatment of shingles (Herpes zoster). This research is part of a broader effort to promote the use of plants from the Algerian flora. Phytochemical analysis of the extracted plants revealed the presence of secondary metabolites such as flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and polyphenols, known for their significant biological properties. An antibacterial activity study was also conducted, revealing a promising inhibitory effect of the tested extract. These results confirm the potential pharmacological benefits of this plant and justify its use in traditional medicine. ملخص :يركز هذا العمل على دراسة الإمكانات العلاجية لنبات طبي يُستخدم تقليديًا لعلاج الهربس النطاقي )الحزام الناري(. ويُعد هذا البحث جزءًا من جهد أوسع لتعزيز استخدام النباتات من التراث الجزائري. كشف التحليل الكيميائي النباتي للمستخلصات النباتية عن وجود مستقلبات ثانوية، مثل الفلافونويدات والتانينات والصابونينات والبوليفينولات، المعروفة بخصائصها البيولوجية الهامة.كما أُجريت دراسة للنشاط المضاد للبكتيريا، أظهرت تأثيرًا مثبطًا واعدًا للمستخلص المختبر. تؤكد هذه النتائج الفوائد الدوائية المحتملة لهذا النبات، وتبُرر استخدامها في الطب التقليدي.
