Abstract

اختطاف الأطفال جريمة غير مستحدثة بل موجودة وقديمة قدم الإنسانية، لكن مايجب ذكره أنها في الآونة الأخيرة استفحلت وتفشت بشكل كبير ورهيب وملفت للإنتباه، ما أكسبها أهمية بالغة في كافة الأصعدة وذلك من خلال تزايد عدد حالات اختطاف الأطفال ومايصاحبها من اعتداءات أخرى تصل إلى حد إزهاق أرواحهم بدم بارد، وأيضا تركيز الإعلام على هذه الجريمة مازاد من حالة الهلع والخوف لدى الأفراد، ويضهر دور المجتمع في المكافحة من خلال التوعية العامة ضد الجريمة محل الدراسة، مما استدعى تدخل الدولة باتخاذ جملة من الآليات القانونية والمؤسساتية للحد منها. تتمثل في تعزيز المنظومة التشريعية

من خلال تعديل قانون العقوبات وتشديد العقوبات المتعلقة بهذه الجريمة، إلى جانب تفعيل دور الأجهزة الأمنية، وإنشاء وحدات مختصة بجرائم الأحداث. كما تلعب مؤسسات المجتمع المدني ووسائل الإعلام دورا تكميليا في التوعية والتحسيس بخطورة الظاهرة وسبل الوقاية منها. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز مدى فعالية هذه الآليات الوطنية في مكافحة الظاهرة والحد من انتشارها مع اقتراح حلول لتعزيز جهود الحماية والوقاية مما يضمن سلامة الطفل وحماية حقوقه في ظل التحديات الظاهرة.
