Description
The study aims to identify the nature of functional relations in
determining the types of communication within the Department of
Sociology. Al-Shazly bin Jadid University - Al-Taraf-
This led to the following question: What is the role of functional
relations in determining the communication patterns in the
Department of Sociology at the University of Shadli Ben Jadid-Taraf-?
Accordingly, we have formulated three sub-questions:
1- What is the nature of the functional relations in the Department of
Sociology at the University of Shadli bin New Taraf ?
2- What are the communicative patterns prevailing in the Department
of Sociology at the University of Shadli bin New Taraf ?
3- How did the functional relations affect the communication
department of sociology at the University of Shadli bin New Taraf?
To achieve the objectives of the study, we used the descriptive
approach as the most common and serves the subject of the study,
and we designed a questionnaire that included 26 questions
distributed on four axes.
The study results were based on the following results:
- Functional relations in the Department of Sociology are characterized
by good characterization of the principle of cooperation and harmony
between them
- Communication plays a major role in linking the relations between
professors and management
- Functional relationships contribute to determining the quality of the
communication, it affects and is affected by it.
- The existence of multiple modes of communication to the
Department of Sociology is reflected in both formal and informal
- Although contact with the department is a low-level communication
from the administration towards the teachers, there is a very high
percentage of communication according to its horizontal model for
the study sample
- Informal relations contribute to the formation of friendly ties
between officials and officials
