| dc.description.sponsorship | This research deals with an analysis of the folklore in its current form, and an attempt to resolve all the problems associated with it, which are represented in confronting the clash of cultures, absorbing the information revolution, and reading the reality of the folk heritage in light of globalization. This reading relied on the mechanisms of cultural criticism, which is considered the fruit of the efforts made by the field of criticism, as it is more accommodating of the change intended for the development of how to understand the transformations taking place in the structures and their multiple references, and in the various functions and forms. The cultural approach is the one capable of exhuming the folklore and deconstructing its discourses, and tracing the aspects that have been overlooked or marginalized from the folklore in other critical studies that are concerned with form rather than cultural content. The aim of this research is to liberate the popular heritage from the dogmatic readings that have increased it backward.
